Broiled Lobster Tail (Quick and Easy)
Broiled lobster tail is one of my favorite easy weeknight dinner idea. So delicious if you do not have allergy to shellfish. I always manage to have lobster on pizza night, that way my kids will not make me fill guilty by not sharing my lobster with them. Let face it, making lobster meal for a whole entire big family twice a week, will break the bank. But better if it is for one or two people twice a week. Anyway, I love that you pop this in the oven and 10 minute later you are good to eat. I love eating this as is or with a side of salad.
I Only use herbs de Provence, garlic with some lime juice, black pepper and olive oil
Ingredients
2 large clean lobster tails
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon of Herb de provence
2 tablespoon of lemon juice
4 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
1
Preheat broiler.
2
Cut the shell lengthwise with kitchen shears or sharp knife leaving the tail flap intact.
3
Gently separate all meat from the shell except an inch near the tail flap.
4
Lift most of the meat out of the shell, close the shell under it, and let the meat rest on top of the shell.
5
Dust tail meat with the mixture of oil, garlic, herb de Provence, lime, black pepper.
6
Place tails in baking pan, meat side up.
7
Broil for 10 minutes or until meat is opaque.
8
Serve as is or with a salad
