Easy Chocolate Flan Cake
This recipe calls for the use of box chocolate cake mix for easy making and time saving.
Ingredients
1 can of evaporated milk or whole milk (12oz)
1 can of condensed milk (14 oz)
1/2 cup of Caramel topping
2 large eggs
1tsp of Vanilla
1tsp of powdered Nutmeg
ยฝ container of Moist chocolate cake mix (for quick and easy fix)
Ingredients per box of chocolate cake mix (use half of the ingredients)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350

Coat your baking pan with non-sticking cooking spray or butter

Pour caramel topping into the already prepared baking pan

Mix ingredients for half of the chocolate cake according to the package direction.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan

In a mixing bowl, blend together eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla and nutmeg

Pour flan mixture on top of the chocolate mixture.

Place the baking pan in a big roasting pan, and pour warm water inside the roasting pan to about 2.5inches

Please note that the flan mixture will go to the bottom and the chocolate cake mixture will rise to the top when baking

Bake for about 1 hour 45 min or until toothpick inserted in a center comes out clean.

Remove cake from oven and let it cool down completely before trying to remove it from the baking pan.

I will def have to try this recipe! Chocolate and caramel together are taste bud heaven.
