Easy Sous Vide Steak with Salad
I love making delicious elaborated steak dinner on weekends. Thanks to yedi souvide, I am now enjoying fancy restaurant style steak! Yes this fabulous gadget makes roast beef an easier dish to make.
The choice of meat is necessary depending on your desired sous vide time. Personally I love using chuck eye roast and usually will sous vide for about 4hour. But Ribeye is the best quick sous vide beef, as its fat marbling makes the meat tender, flavorful and short sous vide time..
Also always quickly brown the outside of the meat after sous vide .
For this recipe I used the following ingredients:
- Savourous Prime rib seasoning
- Herbs
- Salt & bouillon

Your favorite leafy green salad will go perfectly with this fancy cooked meat.
Ingredients
2 Steak cuts (about 2 inches thick each)
4 Tbsps of savourous Prime rib seasoning
2 Tbsps of olive oil
2 sprigs thyme
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of bouillon (optional)
Instructions

Preheat your sous vide water bath for 134F ( following instructions of your sous vide)

Season both steak with mixture of, prime rib seasoning, salt, bouillon.

Put each steak in their respective vacuum seal, adding 1 sprig of herb to each bag with 2 tbsp of olive oil per bag, then seal.

Once the steak is done with the sous vide bath. Remove the steak from the vacuum seal bag.

Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot, then add your steak

Sear quickly on each side then remove and serve.
