Skin on or off?
Hi Rosie,
Sorry for the late reply. For this one the skin is on. I like leaving the skin on for beauty, but I do not eat the skin.
My first time making it and I’m telling you my house smells so good because of the chicken. My fiancé said that I have to make it again tomorrow
Awwh I am so glad!
The chicken turned out great! The only changes I made were to spritz grapeseed oil on both sides of the chicken before sprinkling on the spice mixture. Also, my air fryer (Cosori) only has increments of 10 degrees, so I cooked at 380. It was perfect!
Yes some air fryers goes by 10. So yes, better go up than down. You did fabulous!
Try Slap ya Mama seasoning and olive oil.
All you need.
That is so right Jeff . lol
Why 180? 165 is the recommended internal temperature for chicken. 180 dries the drumstick out.
I usually pull poultry a little over 160 and let it rest for a few minutes and the probe always gets it up to 165 which makes for really moist, juicy meat.
You are correct. I packed my chicken a little tightly in the air fryer that was why.
But yes 160 is the standard.
I just got my air fryer and this is my first recipe to be done in it! It looks fabulous. Thanks for sharing
I am so glad. Thanks so much
Just exactly how much msg boullion do you use?
Not much, about 1 tablespoon should be fine.
