Quick and Easy Orange Chicken
It is so quick and easy to make! This orange chicken is eaten in my house as a snack! It is one of my kids’ favorite asian food. And since I love controlling ingredients that goes into our food, I love making this orange chicken at home! I sure hope you like my recipe.
Ingredients
FRIED CHICKEN
1 boneless, skinless breast
2 Tbsp tapioca starch
1 egg
Pinch of salt and pepper (to taste)
Cooking for frying oil
ORANGE SAUCE
½ cup of freshly pressed orange juice
1tsp of vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp of ginger
½ tsp garlic powder
1Tsp tapioca starch
½ tsp Orange zest
Instructions

In a bowl, combine egg, salt,pepper, tapioca starch.
Whisk the mixture until frosty.

Toss the diced chicken in the frosty mixture and coat them well.

In a frying pan, fry the pieces of chicken making sure they are not touching each other. Remove the chicken from the oil once golden and set aside.

In a sauce pan, combine orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic and completely dissolved 1/2 Tbsp tapioca starch.

Cook on medium heat for a bout 4 minute until thicken.

Toss the fried chicken in the orange sauce.

Stir to coat the chicken pieces in sauce.
Serve the chicken as is or over rice or noodle.
