Steak and Creamy Mushrooms Sauce
Steak and creamy mushroom sauce is one of the classic steak recipe my sons love. It is like combining their two favorite thing: Steak and mushrooms! You can make this sauce with coconut cream if you are lactose intolerant like myself. But since i am making this for my boys only I am free to use normal dairy cream once a while. We love eating this as is or with a side of rice, mashed potato or noodle. I love using white mushrooms for this recipe, but feel free to experiment. Cooking this steak in a cast iron is my way to go, but you can cook the steak on a grill. I did not need butter or oil for the steak since my ribeye got enough fat. For this recipe, all you need is:
- Ribeye steak
- Mushrooms
- Steak seasoning
- Garlic
- Parsley for garnish
- Bouillon, Salt and Black pepper
Ingredients
1 pound of ribeye steak
16oz of musrooms
3 tablespoons of Steak seasoning
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 teaspoon of bouillon seasoning
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of cream
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Seasonned your steak with savourous prime rib steak seasoning

On medium heat in a hot cast iron skillet cook your steak to your desired doneness. Then remove the cooked steak from the cast arion and place it on your serving plate.

While your cast iron is still on the stove, add the mushrooms, garlic, bouillon and sautee for about 2 minutes. Add the cream and salt. Let is cook to desired thickness the add black pepper, stir and remove from the stove.

Pour the creamy mushroom sauce on the steak, garnish with fresh parsley.
