SteelHead Trout Fish Taco
The sauce is optional but it is on of my favorite taco sauce. Give it a try and be amazed. For this recipe, all you need is:
2 pieces of Steelhead Trout package
6Lowcarb Tortillas wraps
Fish Grilling seasoning mix
1 Tablespoon of cumin powder
½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon of hot pepper powder
½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of bouillon powder
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
For the sauce:
½ cup of sour cream
¼ cup of sriracha sauce
¼ cup of mayonnaise
½ teaspoon of black pepper
1 clove of garlic minced.
4 tablespoons of lime juice
Optional topping
½ cup of chopped parsley
1 cup of pickled onion
What to do?
– Remove your fresh Steelhead Trout from the package
– In a small bowl, mix your seasoning in a cumin, cayenne pepper, hot pepper, salt, bouillon, black
pepper.
– Coat the fish with the seasoning mix.
– In a cast iron, coated with oil, grill the seasoned fish on both side until done.
– Remove and set aside.
– Toast your low carb tortilla wrap (optional)
– For the sauce, In a bowl, mix, sour cream, sriracha sauce, mayonnaise, lime juice, minced garlic
and black pepper.
– Place a cut of your cooked fish into the tortilla wrap, top it with the sauce. You can add Pickled onions and cilantro.
