Stuffed mushrooms (champignons Farcis)

This stuffed mushroom is something that never last 2minutes on the dining table.

Ingredients

10 big and fresh mushrooms

1 cup of chopped cooked shrimps

1/4 cup of chopped green onion

1⁄2 cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup of butter (melted)

2 tbsp. of cream

3 cloves of chopped garlic

¼ cup of Italian herbs

1 big egg

1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

1/4 cup of grated mozzarella cheese

Salt (to taste)

A dash of black pepper

1/4 cup of chopped red bell pepper

Instructions

Wash and remove the stem of all mushrooms

Combine shrimps, onions, garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian herbs mix, cream, bread crumbs, egg, Parmesan, red bell pepper Mozzarella cheeses and mix well

Stuff approximately 2 teaspoons of the mixture inside mushroom cavity

Place the stuffed mushrooms in a sprayed baking pan

Pour the melted butter over the top of mushrooms

Cover and bake for about 45 minutes.

Remove cover; sprinkle your mushrooms with the garnishing mozzarella cheese

Put the mushrooms back in the oven to allow the cheese to melt.

Remove and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley for garnish.
Serve hot
