Toum Garlic Sauce Spread
- Oil
- Garlic
- Salt
- Lime Juice
- Tool: Immersion Hand Blender
Make sure to use fresh clean garlic. I do sometimes freeze my garlic, and I sure use a thawed frozen garlic.
In a food jar add the garlic and salt then with a hand blender emulsify the garlic salt combo.
Start adding oil one tablespoon at a time while blending until all oil get incorporated. Add the lime juice gradually and blend well until you obtain your desire creamy thick mixture. It is nice to alternate the gradual addition of oil and lime.
Serve at room temperature as a spread or dip. This goes well with grilled meat, bread, chips and more.
