Tzatziki sauce
Tzatziki also called tarator is a dip sauce popular in Middle East. It is made mainly with Greek yogurt base mixed with cucumbers, garlic, salt, optional olive oil, Lime juice or vinegar is added and some fresh herbs like dill, thyme, parsley or mint leaves. You can serve this as a dip for appetizers, or a side dish. It goes great with sandwiches like gyros or a great sauce for souvlaki. When prepping the cucumber, some people grate the seedless cucumber or dice finely.
